We know that being a young parent or carer, you give a lot out so why not come along to Breakfast Tots on a Wednesday morning and allow someone to make you breakfast.
For those caring for pre-school children, there will be cereal and toast for the children and a continental type breakfast for you. Starting at 9am and lasting for just over an hour, we meet in our hall during term time (you’ll find the red door, around the side of the church on Marlborough Road).
This is our fortnightly Friday youth group, for those aged roughly between the ages of 8 and 12. We meet from 6-7.30pm and do a range of activities from staying in and playing ball games or board games to doing crafts and going out for different activities. Come along to have a whole lot of ‘Fusion Fun’ and make some new friends.
Our Rainbows, Brownies & Guides meet in the church hall on a Monday evening during term time.
As the Messy Church website says, Messy Church is a different kind of church which is for children and adults and aimed at all ages and all families, exploring the bible and faith through craft, fellowship, hospitality and informal learning.
We hold seasonal Messy Church sessions at Christmas, Easter and summer on the first Thursday of the month, starting at 3.30pm through to 6pm. Watch the website for more information and dates!
Holiday Club is one of the highlights of the year, 3 days of crazy activities when we learn more about Jesus. It’s usually held on the first Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of the summer school holidays and is open to those of primary school age. We’ve got a great team of talented leaders and helpers so watch out on the website for the HBC’s 2018 Holiday Club!
TLG are passionate about bringing hope and a future to children and families who are facing difficult circumstances in their lives or tragic situations such as bereavement, family breakdown, poverty or being in the care system.
As a partner church with TLG, we have a small team of highly dedicated people who visit a local school weekly to act as mentors to children, giving one to one support to those who are struggling through a range of different activities.
